The Prius Rhythm Multi Bariatric Alternating Pressure system is designed to meet the pressure prevention and treatment needs of patients with limited mobility who are at medium to high risk of developing pressure ulcers. This bariatric mattress system is available in 42"W PHR-RHYM42 and 48"W PHR-RHYM48 sizes with weight capacity of 1,000 lbs. The Rhythm Multi offers many features, including: Advanced 3-in-1 Alternating Pressure inflates and deflates cells in a 3:1 cycle to provide active pressure relief by supporting two-thirds of the user's body weight at any given time; True Low Air Loss that helps to effectively manage skin moisture to avoid maceration and maintain a dryer environment for pressure ulcer healing in the treatment of Stage I to Stage IV pressure ulcers; and 60-second Pulsation Therapy that helps stimulate and promote capillary blood flow to the skin. The system's Happy Feet Technology provides 3 selectable softness settings in the last 4 air cells to provide protection for patient’s fragile heels, and 10 Adjustable Comfort Settings are just a few more of the features including in this system.
Both the 42"W and 48"W Bariatric Rhythm Multi models offer optional Side Bolster Covers for added patient safety. Available in sizes: 42"W x 80"L x 10"H (PHR-RHYM42 & PHR-RHYM42B Bolster); 48"W x 80"L x 10"H (PHR-RHYM48 & PHR-RHYM48B Bolster).

3-1 Alternating Pressure Explained
3-1 Alternating Pressure (AP) inflates and deflates the individual mattress air bladders in cycles to provide pressure relief in a 3:1 ratio. As a result, the mattress surface always supports 2/3 of the body's weight during AP mode—leading to a smoother transition between bladder cycle times, and a more comfortable surface that supports 2/3 of the body's weight as opposed to older "every-other-cell" (2:1) alternating pressure systems that supports only 50% of the body when in AP mode.
