Invacare's microAIR MA900 Lateral Rotation Low Air Loss Mattress System features continuous 20-degree and 40-degree lateral rotation therapy, which can help lower the risk of infection, pneumonia and other pulmonary complications. The MA900 (36"W), MA900B42 (42"W) and MA900B48 (48"W) x 80"L mattresses are perfect for medium to high risk patients who are on a turn schedule to help prevent or treat Stage I - IV pressure sores. Lateral Rotation Therapy provides subtle, gentle turning that is completely customizable from 1/4, 1/2, 3/4 turns to full turn, and left or right directional options. True Low Air Loss helps to effectively manage skin moisture to avoid maceration and maintain a dryer environment for pressure ulcer healing in the treatment of pressure ulcers, also referred to as "bed sores." Customizable Cycle Times and 10 Adjustable Comfort Settings meet a wide range of unique patient therapeutic and comfort needs. Inflatable Built-in Side Bolsters are also included to assist with re-centering of the patient in between turns, and can be removed as needed to aid with ease of entering and exiting the mattress.
