Protekt Raised Wedge Rail Guard for Hospital Beds | Half- or Full-Rail Sizes
Protekt Raised Wedge Rail Guards fill the gap between the mattress and rail to help prevent potential patient entrapment between the mattress and rails. Protekt Raised Wedge Guards are 12" in height to additionally protect patients from rolling into the rail. Closing the gaps around the perimeter of the mattress decreases the risk of entrapment of the head, neck, chest or limbs that may occur between the rail(s) and mattress is eliminated. Pads are designed to attach securely to the rail with provided buckles, and rest both below the mattress level as well as on top of the mattress. This model will not lower with bed rails, and must be lifted out of position to allow for patient transfers. Available in two models to fit Half-Rail and Full-Rail configurations. Sold as Each, or Pair (two guards).
