Moxi Enterprise's BariSelect Low Air Loss Mattress with Pulse Mode is available in widths of 42", 48", 54" and 60" and fits most bariatric bed frames. Sleep surface is 80"L plus 4" foot pillow at foot of bed. Pulsation therapy is an alternative to traditional alternating pressure mattresses. Pulsation treatment alternates the pressure across the entire mattress surface by "dropping" 1, 2 or 3 levels for 60 seconds, then returning to the original pressure setting. This therapy creates a "wave form" or massage-like affect that not only relieves pressure, but also stimulates capillary blood flow to the skin. Pulse Mode function is controlled by selecting from three pre-programmed cycle times of 15, 7 and 3 minutes.
The hallmark of Moxi's is the Select Air system's immersion therapy via Low Air Loss provides a constant flow of air to be distributed equally across the top mattress surface, which circulates under a vapor-permeable cover to wick moisture away from the patient. *Note: Moxi Mattresses are made-to-order and non-returnable.
