Kangaroo Enteral Feeding Gravity Sets are to be used in the absence of an enteral feeding pump. The sets also incorporate an internal, anti-free flow safety feature and purple ENFit Connector that assures safe and secure connections to enteral feeding tubes exclusively. *Note: If your feeding tube or extension set does not have the new ENFit Connection standard, you will need to add the optional white Universal Stepped Adapter (also called "Christmas-tree" adapter). What is an ENFit to Legacy Transition Stepped Adapter?

Prior to 2023, each Gravity Bag Set included a "universal stepped adapter," which allows connecting sets to older, or "legacy," type feeding tubes (click here to view). Because the manufacturer no longer includes this adapter, NewLeaf has provided an option on this product page to add the connector(s) to your order if your feeding tube does not have the new ENFit Connection. It is important to know that manufacturers have ceased making feeding tubes with "legacy" connections, and current supply will eventually be replaced exclusively by ENFit Connection products.
