BestMove Standing Transfer Aids | STA400 & STA450
The Bestcare BestMove STA400 and STA450 Standing Transfer Aid devices allow the user to actively participate in the transport process. Designed for users with enough strength in their arms and legs to rise and support themselves. Once standing, swivel seats lock into place with the assistance of a caregiver, which allows the patient to sit comfortably and safely during transport. The BestMove Standing Transfer helps with transfers from chair or bed to toileting or wheelchair and vice versa.
This product is not recommended for use with recliners that either: a.) Do not offer a floor height clearance of 4" minimum or; b.) Have an outer width greater than 27". Use with Lift Recliners that do not allow an under clearance, or are too wide for the expandable base to be positioned close enough for the patient to securely plant their feet on the footplate is not recommended. Please be sure to check this information against your recliner's overall width before ordering.
Note: This product is intended for users 5' 1" to 6' 6" in height. The patient must be strong enough to actively participate with their legs and arms. If they are unable to actively participate in the raising and lowering process, we recommend that you consider a Powered Sit-To-Stand Lift model like the Protekt 500 Stand 34200, BestStand Mini SA400HE, or Lumex LF2020.
